Warranty Policy

Lifetime Limited Warranty:

We stand behind the quality of our inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) at Pacific Spirit Paddle Company. That's why we offer a lifetime limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use. Here's what you need to know:

Coverage:

Our warranty covers the core components of your inflatable SUP:

  • The main inflatable body, including air chambers and drop-stitch construction.
  • The EVA foot pad and traction surface.
  • Inflation and pressure release valves.
  • Fins and fin boxes.
  • D-rings, bungee cords, and leash attachment points.
  • Handles, carrying straps, and backpack/storage bag components.

Terms:

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Proper registration within 30 days of purchase is required for warranty validation.
  • This warranty is limited to normal recreational use and does not cover commercial or institutional use, rental operations, or misuse beyond intended purposes.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications void the warranty.
  • Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
  • Pacific Spirit Paddle Co. reserves the right to determine whether a defect falls under warranty coverage.

Scope:

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:

  • Delamination, separation, or peeling of layers.
  • Structural defects or failures like seam separation or air leakage.
  • Faulty valves or related components.
  • Issues with fins, fin boxes, D-rings, and more.

Exclusions:

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, or alterations.
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or superficial scratches.
  • Damages caused by improper maintenance, storage, or handling.
  • Any unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Aesthetic issues under 1 square inch. Our paddleboards are hand made and therefore have a small degree of variation.
  • Accessories not specified in the warranty coverage.

Claim Process:

If you discover a covered defect:

  1. Contact our customer service at support@pacificspiritpaddlecompany.com within 45 days.
  2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. We may request additional information or photos for assessment.
  4. Return shipping costs are on Pacific Spirit Paddle Co for warranty breaches. However, for non-warranty issues, the buyer will pay for return shipping.
  5. Upon validation, we'll repair or replace the defective part at our discretion.

Limitations:

  • Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund as per the warranty terms.
  • We're not liable for indirect damages arising from accessory use.
  • The warranty is non-transferable.

Changes:

We may update this policy without prior notice, effective upon posting on our website.
